SLU and INRAE collaboration

INRAE strengthens its collaboration with the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) within the framework of the European Research Alliance for Pesticide-Free Agriculture. Visit to the BIOGER & ECOSYS units on the Agro Paris-Saclay Campus.


On September 18, 2025, BIOGER and ECOSYS units welcomed the SLU delegation at the Campus Agro Paris-Saclay.

During the visit, the SLU delegation visited our research infrastructure, including the growth chambers, greenhouses, the prototyping workshop for innovative control and monitoring tools for phytotrons, and the "'Green Roof Environment Lab'", which enables the study of biotic and abiotic factors’ impact on the physiology and health of various plants.

On the occasion of hosting a high-level delegation from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), INRAE's leading Swedish partner in terms of co-publications, at INRAE's head office, the two institutions expressed their desire to build on their history of strong collaboration. As key partners in the European Research Alliance for Pesticide-Free Agriculture, INRAE and SLU are conducting numerous joint research projects based on a shared vision focused on societal innovation, dialogue with stakeholders in the agricultural sector, and the transition to sustainable agrifood systems. Cf https://www.inrae.fr/en/news-brief
